To Hāna and Beyond

The island of Maui is loved for its lush landscape, incredible beaches, farm-to-table cuisine, and idyllic sunrise and sunset. Perhaps one of the most famous road trips in the Islands, the windy yet scenic 52-mile drive known as the Road to Hāna connects the town of Pā‘ia to the remote yet revitalizing town of Hāna. Refreshingly beautiful and steeped in native Hawaiian traditions, Hāna's community is one like no other: culturally rich, sustainably focused, and incredibly connected through generational practices of their ‘ōhana. A must-go when on Maui, this adventure is one where both the journey and the destination offer a remarkable and unforgettable experience.

The best way to navigate the Road to Hāna is to take it slow and admire the breathtaking landscape, stopping at scenic outlooks and local shops to experience the richness of the island before arriving in Hāna - and be sure to respect any posted signs, local traffic, and other travelers as you go.
