SFJAZZ will be hosting "Anywhere Aloha," a one-night-only event in San Francisco celebrating music, art and the ocean lifestyle with
Taj Mahal,
Kamea Hadar and a showroom with the new 2015 lines from OluKai. This event is sold-out and only open to media. OluKai's Anywhere Aloha™ Campaign proves that though Aloha was born in Hawaii, it is a spirit not bound by geography. Aloha is one way to unlock its spirit in all of us.

VIPS ONLY 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Post-event cocktail party, meet and greet SF Jazz and OluKai leadership circle, unveiling of Hadar's work (created during the event) along with customized OluKai fittings so you can walk away with the perfect footwear. The talent during the night will be two-time-Grammy Award-winning blues musician
Taj Mahal and Honolulu-based artist
Kamea Hadar. Taj Mahal is best known for mixing elements of music from the Caribbean, Africa and South Pacific into his work. He is beloved by many, beginning his lengthy, worldwide career as a self-taught singer-songwriter who plays many instruments including guitar, piano, bajo and harmonica. Kamea Hadar, admired for blending authentic Hawaiian iconography with modern street style, currently lives in Honolulu after studying at Sorbonne in Paris, University of St. Louis in Madrid and the University of Tel Aviv, Israel, among others. Hadar is the youngest board member of the Hawaii Arts Alliance, one of the lead directors of POW! WOW! Hawaii and designer/artistic director of Utopium, home of POW! WOW! Hawaii.
